Father Joseph J. Brennan was accused of sexually abusing a boy, ages 12-14, over a two year period (1957-59). A civil suit against Brennan settled in in 2016. The Diocese placed Brennan on sick leave from 18963-66, and he died in 1976.

Father Brennan was ordained in 1945 and is deceased.
