Father Patrick J. Weaver was accused of sexually abusing numerous teenaged boys during his time in ministry, with the first accusation dating back to 1966. In 1985 and 1986, Weaver was arrested and convicted of multiple sex crimes. After his arrests, Weaver was permanently suspended from ministry.
