Summary of Sexual Abuse allegations against Father Delbert Blong:
Father Delbert Blong was accused of molesting a boy for 20 years (1971-1992) and infecting him with HIV. A civil suit against Blong was settled in 1994. Blong admitted that there was a relationship with the plaintiff, but countersued alleging that the plaintiff has given him HIV. The diocese removed all of Father Blong’s privileges and he was not allowed to enter onto any property of the diocese without the Bishop’s permission.
Father Blong was ordained in 1952.
