Sex abuse survivors typically wait to come forward and tell their story because of the shame and the stigma surrounding their experience. Our typical client was abused decades ago. And the difficulty associated with telling their stories is part of what motivates us to do this. Most law firms and most lawyers don’t understand that the pain and the difficulty associated with coming forward and talking about this experience, and because we do, and because we hear these stories every day, we’re, I think, better equipped to help people who’ve waited decades to tell that story.
