Bradley Orton Arrested Following Alleged Sexual Assault During Massage

A Montgomery County massage therapist is facing a criminal charge after authorities allege he sexually assaulted a client during a massage appointment.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Bradley Orton, 29, was arrested on July 16, 2026, and charged with Indecent Assault by a Health or Mental Provider, a state jail felony. He was then transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

What Authorities Allege Happened

“On July 3, 2026, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a 911 call regarding an indecent assault. Deputies met with a female victim who reported that she had been inappropriately touched and assaulted during a massage at Deluxe Therapeutic Massage & Spa, located at 4849 FM 1488 in Magnolia.” (MCSO)

Investigators identified Orton as the suspect and learned that he had previously been arrested for similar allegations.

According to authorities, Orton allegedly touched the woman’s private parts multiple times while giving her a massage.

Court documents describe the woman’s account of the incident in detail. “The complainant advised she believed she was crying and told herself, ‘I am okay.’ She advised she was scared based off how she had already been touched and how exposed and vulnerable she was.” (ABC 13 Houston)

Court records also note that Orton is 6 feet 6 inches tall, which contributed to the woman’s fear. She told authorities she was too scared to react

“The Complainant also advised she was afraid how ‘big’ the employee was that she was intimidated and did not want to upset him by saying something out loud.” (ABC 13 Houston)

After the massage concluded, Orton allegedly gave the woman his personal phone number, suggested that they “hang out,” and offered discounted massages outside of the business.

According to court records, Orton denied the allegations during an interview with investigators, telling them that she had “made up the entire story” because he refused to touch her private areas.

According to KPRC 2 Click2Houston, Orton also told investigators she had given him an “invitation,” which he said he did not accept.

Investigators Believe Additional Victims May Exist

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has publicly stated that investigators believe “there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.”

Anyone with information regarding the investigation or who believes they may have been a victim of Orton is encouraged to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 936-538-3237 and reference case number 26A226101.

Prior Assault Case Raises Additional Questions

This is not the first time Orton has been arrested for reports of assaulting a massage client.

In 2022, authorities charged Orton with indecent assault after another woman alleged he rubbed her genitals without her consent while performing a massage at a different business, Nara’s Therapeutic Massage & Day Spa. The woman told him that she felt uncomfortable, and then he told her “he ‘got the wrong vibe from her,’” according to court documents.

Investigators made contact with Orton regarding the allegations, and he admitted to touching her inappropriately.

Orton ultimately pleaded guilty in that case and received deferred adjudication with 13 months of community supervision.

Massage Student Permit Remains Active

Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation records indicate that Orton currently holds a Massage Student Permit, which he has held since March 22, 2022.

Following his latest arrest, KPRC 2 reported that it contacted the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to confirm “whether any action was taken after his previous arrest.”

Whether any regulatory action will result from the pending criminal case remains to be seen.

Civil Lawsuits May Hold Businesses Accountable

According to KPRC 2, the owner of Deluxe Therapeutic Massage “admitted he never did a background check before hiring Orton.”

If true, the absence of a background check is significant. Massage therapists work in positions of extraordinary trust, often treating clients who are partially unclothed and alone in private rooms. Because of that access, businesses must implement reasonable hiring practices, including background checks, in order to protect their clients.

The criminal proceedings against Bradley Shaw Orton will determine whether he is found guilty of the pending charges. A civil lawsuit, however, can examine whether a business failed to take reasonable steps to protect its clients, including whether it conducted a background check, reviewed an applicant’s criminal history and qualifications, contacted references, and provided appropriate supervision.

Beyond seeking financial compensation, civil litigation can provide survivors with answers, hold businesses and institutions accountable, and drive meaningful changes that help protect others from similar harm.

When people seek massage therapy, they trust that they will receive safe, professional care. When that trust is violated, it is devastating.

Survivors of sexual abuse by massage therapists may have legal options against the businesses whose failures contributed to the abuse.
