John Barron, a teacher and football coach at John Glenn High School, is under arrest for battery due to an incident with a female student. He is no longer on campus.
According to police, on Jan. 29 of this year, a former student told the Walkerton Police Department that she was sexually assaulted while attending John Glenn High School. The victim indicated that Barron repeatedly fondled her butt. She asked him to stop, and he did not.

John Barron worked at Plymouth High School for 17 years before going to John Glenn High School. The charges brought against him are deeply troubling, especially considering his position of trust within the educational and athletic communities.
