Ronald Lee Davis, 64, a Stephen Decatur High School former band teacher in Salisbury, Maryland, is about to serve a six-month suspended sentence for sexual assault against a student from back in 1993. After the school became aware of the abuse, Davis resigned and has taught at Somerset County Public Schools since last year. Now, questions arise about why Worchester School District did nothing to alert officials or authorities of allegations against Davis.
Davis has taught for more than three decades, with administrators knowing he was accused of sexual abuse in the 90’s. In court, his victim testified, “What Mr. Davis has done has left me with a lifetime of trauma,”
