Dr. Hassan Khan Arrested
An Arizona physician has been arrested after two female patients independently reported allegations of sexual contact during medical examinations.
According to the Chandler Police Department, Dr. Hassan Mansoor Khan, 48, was arrested on July 8, 2026, “after an investigation revealed similar allegations by two female patients, who alleged unsolicited encounters with Dr. Kahn. In both cases, these women reported Dr. Kahn touched them in an inappropriate sexual manner during scheduled medical exams at his Chandler office.”
Investigators noted “striking similarities” between the two women’s independent accounts. According to court documents, although the pending criminal charges stem from the first patient’s allegations, investigators relied in part on the similarities between the women’s accounts when establishing probable cause for Khan’s arrest.
Khan has been charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual abuse.
According to Maricopa County Superior Court records, Khan’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 17, 2026.
Chandler Police Seek Additional Information on Dr. Khan
The Chandler Police Department is asking anyone with additional information about Dr. Hassan Mansoor Khan to come forward.
The department emphasized that it understands the sensitive nature of these kind of investigations and that the identities of individuals who come forward will remain anonymous to the public.

First Patient Alleges Dr. Khan Sexually Assaulted Her During Medical Examination
According to the probable cause affidavit, the first complainant contacted Chandler police on February 7, 2025, one day after an appointment with Dr. Hassan Khan.
The woman told investigators that at her appointment, Khan reviewed her pain and her medications.
According to the probable cause affidavit, he felt her back, commented that she appeared “very tight” and “stressed out,” and asked her to lie face down on the examination table. While rubbing her back, Khan allegedly asked, “‘Do you mind?’” The woman believed he was asking permission to lift her shirt and agreed.
“At one point he pulled down her pants and underwear and reached in between her legs and touched the front of her vagina, the probable cause statement said. The woman told authorities that she immediately moved her body away from Khan and asked what he was doing and said that he apologized and said he did not normally do that.” (Arizona Republic)
The woman also reported feeling Khan’s clothed, erect penis against her arm during the examination, and that at one point, Khan told her she was “‘so beautiful.’”
Investigators Allege Khan Later Apologized by Text and Phone
According to the probable cause affidavit, on February 11, 2025, the woman received text messages appearing to be from Khan in which he said he was “regretful and embarrassed” and asked for her to forgive him.
During a recorded phone call on February 12, 2025, Khan allegedly apologized repeatedly but did not acknowledge touching the woman’s vagina.

Second Patient Reported Similar Allegations
According to the probable cause affidavit, a second woman contacted Chandler police in September 2025. She reported that Khan allegedly performed oral sex on her during a medical appointment in January 2025 after explaining the lymphatic massage process to her and asking her to loosen her pants. She told investigators she believed she had contracted both syphilis and herpes following subsequent sexual encounters with Khan.
Like the first complainant, the second woman alleged that Khan told her his wife was a lesbian “and is OK with him having extramarital sexual relationships.” (Arizona Republic)
American Medical Associates’ Lack of Response
Following Khan’s arrest, American Medical Associates did not publicly comment on the allegations.
According to reporting, the practice did not respond to requests for comment by the local media. At the time of this publication, the practice’s website continued to identify Khan as its Chief Medical Officer.
As of this publication, public Arizona Medical Board records continue to list Khan’s medical license as active and do not reflect any disciplinary action.

According to his American Medical Associates profile, “Dr. Khan is a board-qualified Nephrologist practicing with this practice since 2008. Dr. Khan also works at several East Valley hospitals including Chandler Regional Medical Center, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and the Banner health facilities.
Dr. Khan completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 2007 at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn NY. He practiced as an Internal Medicine physician for over 6 years prior to completing his fellowship in Nephrology in 2017 from University of Arizona (UofA) in Tucson, AZ.”
Khan earned his medical degree from Nishtar Medical College in Multan, Pakistan, in 2002.
He specializes in internal medicine and nephrology, treating patients with kidney disease and other chronic medical conditions.
